Public invited to Arkansas PBS Family Day Sept. 27 in Conway

Event to feature PBS KIDS characters, family activities

CONWAY, Ark. (Arkansas PBS) — Arkansas PBS Family Day – a free public event that encourages community spirit through family-friendly fun, play and educational activities – will return to the Arkansas PBS headquarters in Conway, Saturday, Sept. 27, held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families are encouraged to RSVP at myarpbs.org/events.

This year’s theme is “’K’ for Kindness,” and the events will feature PBS KIDS costume characters including Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George and Daniel Tiger from “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood,” free healthy snacks for children, hands-on kids’ activities, crafts and games, story time, giveaways and prizes.

Local food trucks at the Conway event including Fry Fry Crazy, Millie’s Fish & Shrimp and Las Delicias will be on hand for additional food and snacks for purchase.
