Arkansas TV hit children’s series ‘Blueberry’s Clubhouse’ produced in partnership with Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts to premiere fifth season
CONWAY, Ark. (Arkansas TV) — “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” – the Emmy award winning original pre-K-2 children’s puppet program features Blueberry and her friends at Camp Onomatopoeia participating in fun, engaging and insightful summer activities across Arkansas – returns to Arkansas TV with an all-new fifth season with a sneak preview of the first segment along with some show extras Sunday, March 22, at 4:30 p.m. Previous seasons of “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” can be viewed at youtube.com/@arkansastv.
The fifth season of “Blueberry’s Clubhouse,” produced in partnership with the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts (AMFA), is composed of six 15-minute segments compiled into three 30-minute episodes. Across these episodes, Blueberry and her friends explore imagination, teamwork and independence while helping children build essential reading and spelling skills. Through a blend of puppetry, animation and live-action performance, young viewers are introduced to phonemic awareness, phonics, decoding and vocabulary in joyful, engaging and developmentally appropriate ways.
This season introduces a fresh storyline and fun new characters. When two mischievous extraterrestrial brothers, Benji and Bart, crash their flying saucer at camp, Blueberry steps in to help. Guided by their onboard computer, RoboReader, she spends the summer learning to spell new words and repair the brothers’ ship.
“Blueberry’s Clubhouse” is designed to be a valuable resource for both families and educators, supporting learning at home and in classrooms — whether homeschool, private or public schools.
The new season is made possible by the award-winning education and local production teams at Arkansas TV, in partnership with the AMFA’s Children’s Theatre. With 11 regional Emmy nominations and four wins, “Blueberry’s Clubhouse” reflects the care, creativity and educational excellence Arkansas TV strives for in every program.
