If you’d like to get a jump on  the upcoming float season…check out our brand new Exploring Arkansas episode on Monday, February 4.  In the first segment we’ll take you down War Eagle Creek north of Huntsville near Withrow Springs State Park.  This is a really peaceful, much less crowded stream which during the week, you probably could have it all to yourself – like we did when we taped the segment.

In a previous episode, we featured the wild cave tour at Blanchard Springs Caverns, but this time, for those of you who aren’t really up to spending 3-4 hours crawling through a cave on your belly…there’s the well-developed Dripstone Trail with the most awesome cave formations anywhere !

Petit Jean River Wildlife Management Area south of Dardanelle offers not only some of the best viewing  for shorebirds and wintering waterfowl, but also a couple of really neat old bridges.
In the final segment, we team up once again with waterfall discoverer/explorer Brian Emfinger who’ll take us to two more of his newly-discovered waterfalls north of Ozark in the Ozark National Forest—White Oak Creek Falls and Shower Chair Falls.
