A walk in an enchanted forest? Yes, in The Natural State you can do just that, and it’s the ideal place to begin our “Trails Less Traveled” series.

Marinoni Scenic Area Waterfall

Located in the Ozark National Forest north of the Mulberry River, the Marinoni Scenic Area is exactly that: very SCENIC and enchanting!

At this time of the year, the three-mile-long stretch of trail is a lush green forest of giant ferns, towering bluffs and spectacular waterfalls.

People who hike this area for the very first time are simply astounded, just like we were. It is like the perfect storybook adventure setting!
