From a light saber duel as a Jedi to enjoying a waterfall paradise as easy as 1,2,3 and being welcomed in Welcome, Arkansas, to sipping on a tasty treat at the iconic Mammoth Orange Café in Redfield – it’s a great kick-off to summer all coming up Wednesday, May 2, during a brand new edition of “Exploring Arkansas.”

The Galaxy Connection in Hot Springs is a Star Wars and Super Heroes collection unlike any other. It’s one man’s collection spanning decades. Life size props and characters make visitors feel like they’re in an actual Hollywood set. And, if that wasn’t enough, at the end of the tour you get to participate in a light saber duel, suited up just like a real Jedi!

Highway 123 Falls north of Hagarville in the Ozark National Forest is just a stone’s throw away from the highway. You can enjoy “paradise” after only about a hundred-yard hike! Easy as 1-2-3!

Welcome, Arkansas, just north of the Louisiana state line, offers travelers a little something extra, other than just a “Welcome to Arkansas” highway sign.

A relic from the past, the Mammoth Orange Café in Redfield has survived the test of time from 1965 to the present. And it’s come a long way from its original fare of orange juice, ice cream and burgers. Get a taste for yourself May 2 at 6:30 p.m.!
