With Arkansas's COVID-19 cases passing the 10,000 mark this week, it's clear that the state's battle against coronavirus is anything but over. With a surge in confirmed cases based in Northwest Arkansas, of special concern are the close quarters of labor-intensive manufacturing facilities, including poultry processing plants. The industry says it’s taking appropriate, recommended precautions to protect workers. Largely affected are Hispanic and Marshallese immigrants.
