What power does storytelling hold, and how has it impacted our state’s history? Dive into a unique catalog of Arkansas folklore in the new AETN digital series "Once Upon a Time in Arkansas." A blend of sharecroppers' stories, myths of the Wild West and tall tales from the deepest hollers of the Ozarks, the series takes a creative look at some of the more powerful stories.

"Retro Report on PBS"

"Retro Report on PBS," a new one-hour magazine format series hosted by journalist Celeste Headlee and artist Masud Olufani and featuring New Yorker humorist Andy Borowitz, premieres Oct. 7. Produced by Retro Report, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to arm the public with a complete picture of today’s most important stories, the series offers viewers a fresh perspective on current headlines, revealing their unknown – and often surprising – connections to the past.

"Student Selects" premieres Oct. 13

Arkansas student filmmakers showcase their creativity and talent in "Student Selects 2019." The special will include comedies, dramas, music videos and historical films.The most frightening and hair-raising films will be included in "Student Selects: Ghosts, Blood & Zombies 5."
