A three-part series of 'Barnes and … A Conversation With' will air on the Arkansas Educational Television Network beginning Monday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m.

'Barnes and … A Conversation With,' AETN's public affairs series with host Steve Barnes, will feature:

• Randall Woods – Barnes rejoins historian and author Randall Woods to discuss 'Prisoners of Hope: Lyndon B. Johnson, the Great Society and the Limits of Liberalism.' In the program, Woods reflects on Johnson's trademark set of domestic programs and explores political vision and its limits. 'Barnes and … A Conversation With Randall Woods' airs Monday, Jan. 9, at 6:30 p.m.
• Ray Moseley – Barnes speaks with veteran journalist, foreign correspondent and Pulitzer Prize finalist Ray Moseley to reflect on Moseley's journalistic career, discuss the future of newspapers and share thoughts on the current state of democracy. Moseley was the lead reporter for the Arkansas Gazette during the Little Rock Central High School integration crisis in 1957. The Arkansas Gazette won two Pulitzer Prizes in 1958 for Meritorious Service and Editorial Writing. 'Barnes and … A Conversation With Ray Moseley' airs Monday, Jan. 16, at 6:30 p.m.
• Kenneth Barnes – Steve Barnes sits down with author Dr. Kenneth Barnes to explore the recently released 'Anti-Catholicism in Arkansas: How Politicians, the Press, the Klan and Religious Leaders Imagined an Enemy, 1910-1960.' Dr. Kenneth Barnes serves as professor of history at the University of Central Arkansas. 'Barnes and … A Conversation With Kenneth Barnes' airs Monday, Jan. 23, at 6:30 p.m.

'Barnes and…A Conversation With,' hosted by veteran journalist Steve Barnes and in production for more than 20 years, is an in-depth current affairs program featuring conversations with a wide variety of prominent individuals from diverse interests and backgrounds.

The series is underwritten, in part, by a grant from the Moving Image Trust Fund.
