“Suze Orman’s Financial Solutions for You” will air on the Arkansas PBS Saturday, March 1, at 9 a.m.
Orman knows that everyone has financial issues and problems, and in this new special she focuses on helping individuals find financial solutions that fit their situations. Her advice is based not only on numbers, but it is also grounded in a critical understanding of people and their emotional needs.
The central theme of “Suze Orman’s Financial Solutions for You” is that financial decision-making should be guided by an understanding of “the goal of money,” which Orman defines as “to make you feel secure.” Financial solutions should work to fulfill that goal, and Orman stresses the importance of feeling comfortable with those decisions. Financial problems arise when people do things with money that do not seem “right” to them – despite pressures and advice from others.
In the program, Orman gives up-to-date advice on a broad set of financial issues, and responds with savvy, humor and empathy to specific questions from the audience. She covers a wide range of topics, including how to invest, whether to buy or rent a home, saving for retirement, what kind of life insurance to buy, wills and trusts, student loans and more.

“Suze Orman's Financial Solutions for You” will repeat Sunday, March 2, at noon; Wednesday, March 5, at 8:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, March 11, at 8 p.m.
