Little Rock Episodes to Air Jan 25, Feb 1, 8 at 7 p.m. on AETN
ANTIQUES ROADSHOW will air three Little Rock based episodes on AETN on Jan. 25, Feb. 1 and Feb. 8 as part of it's new 20th anniversary season.
The 13-time Emmy® nominated series came to Little Rock in July 2015 as part of its six-city summer production tour. More than 4,900 guests attended the all-day appraisal event where guests received valuations of their antiques and collectibles from specialists from the country's leading auction houses and independent dealers.
'We were thrilled to film in Little Rock as part of our 20th season, where we found some amazing treasures,' says executive producer Marsha Bemko. 'Unexpected discoveries included items like a 1983 Truman Capote manuscript, brought by a former magazine editor who worked with the writer, still in it's original envelope.'
'Everyone associated with AETN was so pleased that the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW crew came to Little Rock and visited with literally thousands of our friends and neighbors,' AETN Executive Director Allen Weatherly said. 'The Boston-based crew did such a great job and were fun to work with.
'If anybody questions what people feel about the state's public media network, I wish they could have been there. AETN works hard to serve our citizens, both through our educational efforts and with outstanding events such as the ANTIQUES ROADSHOW in Arkansas. It will be wonderful to see our state celebrated on PBS and AETN.'

As part of the new season, ANTIQUES ROADSHOW reveals a surprising scope of treasures, and viewers will see a new show opening, a new set and new 'snapshot'feature that ultimately delivers more appraisals than ever before in each hour long episode.
