CONWAY, Ark. (AETN) The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) has invited candidates in four races to participate in Election 2012: The Debates, which will tape and air Oct. 23 and 25.
All debates will be held at the AETN studios, 350 South Donaghey, on the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway. Debates will be 60 minutes unless otherwise noted.
Seating is limited, and seats may be reserved by calling 800-662-2386. Doors will open one hour prior to taping times.
Any media representatives interested in attending and covering the debates are welcome and should note the included guidelines.
All four of the debates are offered free to any Arkansas media outlet that provides a written request for permission to use the shows in their entirety. The programs must be identified both by announcement and by caption as a production from AETN or the Arkansas Educational Television Network. Video and audio portions may be used in news reports, but no audio portions may be lifted and used out of context in anyway. You may take the signal off-air or request a dub in most formats. All expense for copies of the debates will be covered by AETN.

All media attending the debates should arrive one hour prior to the scheduled taping.
A pool feed will be available. Bring your own deck. No TV cameras allowed inside the studio. DVDs of the debates will also be available immediately following each debate. Contact Michael Clay at (501) 682-4194 if you have any questions about video.
Still photographers will be allowed to shoot from aisles in studio. No flashes. Do not block audience members view. No autowinders. Remember that the sound of your camera is easily heard.

Reporters seated in the audience will be escorted from their seats to the interview room after the debates. Reporters will not be allowed to talk to candidates before the debate.
