‘The Rose That Grew From Concrete’ to air April 3 on Arkansas PBS

CONWAY, Ark. (Arkansas PBS) — “Connected: A Search for Unity: The Rose That Grew From Concrete” will air on Arkansas PBS Sunday, April 3, at 10 p.m. and stream at myarpbs.org/watchlive.

The film features Tim Campbell, a former all-state athlete, who attended the historic Central High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. Central High is a few blocks from his childhood home and Wolfe Street, once one of the most violent streets in America due to gang activity. While struggle and hardship still exist, Campbell reveals the truth: Wolfe Street is a place of incredible beauty and extraordinary people.

“Connected: A Search for Unity: The Rose that Grew From Concrete” will also air on ARPBS-WORLD Saturday, April 2, at 6 p.m. and Thursday, April 7, at 10 a.m. A complete schedule and all of the ways to watch Arkansas PBS can be found at myarpbs.org/waystowatch.

Additionally, The Arkansas Movement for Change will host a virtual screening of the film Monday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. Details are available at bit.ly/rosescreening.
