Grand Serenade featured in next episode of ‘AETN Presents: On the Front Row’ Friday, Nov. 23

Posted 26 Feb 2013

“AETN Presents: On the Front Row With Grand Serenade” will premiere Friday, Nov. 23, at 6:30 p.m. on the Arkansas PBS (AETN) as part of AETN Arts Fridays.

In a rare public appearance recorded in the AETN studios in July 2012, young, reclusive indie rockers Grand Serenade mesmerize a live audience with slow-burning anthems quite befitting their moniker. The young band – which in the past has been known to spend more time crisscrossing the United States via vintage motorcycles than performing for live audiences – leans heavily on new material for the concert rather than focusing on previous releases. Grand Serenade includes: Kyle Mays, guitar and vocals; Jordan Trotter, guitar; Trevor Ware, bass and synthesizer; and Justin Seymore, drums.

“AETN Presents” features a variety of arts and cultural subjects. Previously included in the series have been the Arkansas Acoustic Festival; performances by the Cate Brothers, Wayland Holyfield and friends, Trout Fishing in America, Dale Hawkins, Shannon Boshears Band, The Salty Dogs and Epiphany; and “On the Same Page” with authors Buzz Bissinger, Billy Collins, John T. Edge and Kenneth L. Smith.

AETN Arts Fridays provides Arkansans with world-class arts and culture programming, including the locally produced series “AETN Presents” at 6:30 p.m. and the PBS arts at 9 p.m. More information about “AETN Presents” and episode clips are available at aetn.org/aetnpresents.
