Dr. Joseph Mercola brings 'Effortless Healing' to AETN studios March 2

Posted 24 Feb 2015

Dr. Joseph Mercola, one of the world's leading advocates for using food as medicine, will be visit the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) for the broadcast of 'Effortless Healing With Dr. Joseph Mercola' Monday, March 2, at 8:30 p.m.

A well-known physician, Mercola's website is one of the most visited natural-health sites in the world – a site dedicated to educating readers about ways to improve their health. In this program he helps people struggling with their weight and chronic conditions to make the connection to their food and lifestyle choices.

Mercola is an educator committed to teaching people how to cultivate their own power to heal. He believes the body is designed to be healthy without drugs and in giving it what it needs to thrive so it can regenerate itself without any outside interventions. This innate restorative tendency is what he calls 'effortless healing.'

Rather than suggesting people rely on expensive and potentially dangerous drugs Mercola empowers people to become their own healers and helps viewers understand how they can effortlessly modify their diet to achieve their health goals.

Mercola covers the impact of gluten and sugar on the body, the benefits of intermittent fasting and exercise, and provides his Effortless Healing Action plans. He clearly outlines changes viewers can make in their lives, from eliminating certain foods to adding others, and illustrates the changes that could result.

Mercola introduces principles of healing to help viewers choose more skillfully what and when to eat, what to drink, how and how often to move, and how to remove the roadblocks to wellness – such as subpar food and contaminated beverages – so that their body can do what it was designed to do effortlessly: stay well.
