Gov. Mike Beebe will discuss state issues and answer students' questions in a special broadcast of "Young Arkansans Ask," airing on the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) Monday, July 1, at 8 p.m.
The Arkansas Governor's School, now in its 34th year, is held each year at Hendrix College in Conway. The six-week summer residential program hosts 400 of the state’s gifted and talented students who are upcoming high school seniors. The program is funded by the Arkansas State Legislature as a portion of the biennial appropriation for Gifted and Talented Programs through the State Department of Education.
Steve Barnes moderates. "Young Arkansans Ask" is underwritten by the Arkansas State Employees Association.
