Best-selling author and investigative journalist Eric Schlosser joins host Steve Barnes in new episode of "Barnes and…A Conversation With" premiering on the Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) Thursday, Dec. 19, at 6:30 p.m.
Schlosser, author of The New York Times best-selling book "Fast Food Nation," discusses his most recent book, "Command and Control: Nuclear Weapons, the Damascus Accident and the Illusion of Safety." The two review the actual events of the missile explosion that occurred in Damascus, Ark., in September 1980. Following the initial broadcast, the program will be available in its entirety online at aetn.org/programs/barnesand. This episode was taped at the Clinton School of Public Service.
"Barnes and…A Conversation With," hosted by veteran journalist Steve Barnes and in production for more than 20 years, is a cutting-edge current affairs program featuring conversations with a wide variety of prominent individuals from many areas of interest and backgrounds.
