"AETN Public Affairs Special: Child Neglect & Abuse in Arkansas" will premiere Thursday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. on the Arkansas Educational Television Network.
This special program takes a deep dive into a problem that has long been in the shadows, raising awareness on how to spot the warning signs of abuse and neglect, available resources and how to find help.
Featured guests include: Arkansas First Lady Susan Hutchinson; Elizabeth Pulley, Children’s Advocacy Centers of Arkansas executive director; and state Rep. DeAnn Vaughn of Horatio, a survivor.
Award-winning journalist and veteran television anchor Vickie Newton will host.
