Arkansas PBS Foundaion to host Roaring '20s cocktail reception, season 4 preview screening for 'Downton Abbey' on 'Masterpiece'

The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) Foundation will host a Roaring '20s cocktail reception and season 4 preview screening honoring the award-winning "Masterpiece" series "Downton Abbey" Thursday, Dec. 19, at 6:30 p.m. at Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Road, Little Rock. The reception will be followed by a free screening of the first hour of "Downton Abbey: Season 4."

The evening will include a Roaring '20s cocktail reception with drinks and hors d'oeuvres, a period costume contest, music, dancing, a Jazz Age photo booth and door prizes. Costumes are strongly encouraged but not required.

This is a fundraising event for the Arkansas PBS Foundaion, and all proceeds will support programming on AETN, Arkansas's PBS affiliate and only statewide public service media network.

The event is sponsored, in part, by Starving Artist Café, Sunbelt Convention Services, Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Little Rock and Vintage Cars of Arkansas.

"Downton Abbey: Series 4" will premiere Sunday, Jan. 5, at 9 p.m. on AETN. A screening of the first hour of "Downton Abbey: Season 4" will begin at 7:30 p.m. Limited seating is available for free screening only with RSVP. Doors will open at 7:15 p.m. for the screening.
