The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) Foundation will host a Roaring '20s cocktail reception inspired by the Academy Award-winning "Masterpiece" series "Downton Abbey" Thursday, Dec. 19, at 6:30 p.m. at Wildwood Park for the Arts, 20919 Denny Road, Little Rock.
Fans of "Downton Abbey" are invited to join the Arkansas PBS Foundaion for an evening of elegance at a Roaring '20s cocktail reception featuring cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, music, dancing, a period photo booth, costume contest and door prizes.
Tickets to the Roaring '20s cocktail reception and screening are $50. A limited number of tickets are available at no charge for the screening only by advanced reservation. Doors open for those attending the screening only at 7:15. While strongly encouraged, costumes are not required. Additional information and tickets are available at aetnfoundation.org/boxoffice or by calling 1-800-662-2386.
This fundraising event benefits the Arkansas PBS Foundaion, and all proceeds will support programming on AETN, Arkansas's PBS affiliate and only statewide public service media network.
The event is sponsored, in part, by Starving Artist Café, Sunbelt Convention Services, Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Little Rock and Vintage Cars of Arkansas and Rock Town Distillery. "Downton Abbey: Season 4" will premiere Sunday, Jan. 5, at 9 p.m. on AETN.
