The Arkansas Educational Television Network Foundation welcomes Ethan Bortnick to Arkansas in October. His first concert will be Sunday, Oct. 23, at 3 p.m. at the Fort Smith Convention Center, 800 Rogers Avenue. On Tuesday, Oct. 25, at 6:30 p.m. he will play at the Maumelle Performing Arts Center, 100 Victory Lane. Tickets for both appearances are available exclusively through the Arkansas PBS Foundaion.
Bortnick is a 15-year-old American pianist, singer, composer, songwriter, actor and musician recognized by Guinness World Records as 'The World's Youngest Solo Musician to Headline His Own Concert Tour.'
General admission tickets are available for both venues for a donation of $25, $35 or $50 per ticket. Additionally, a family four-pack of tickets is available for a donation of $75. These tickets are a fundraiser for the Arkansas PBS Foundaion, and all proceeds will support programming on AETN, Arkansas's PBS affiliate and only statewide public service media network.
AETN will air 'Ethan Bortnick Live In Concert: The Power of Music' and 'Ethan Presents: A Celebration of America' Monday, Aug. 22, beginning at 7 p.m. In 'The Power of Music,' Bortnick is accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra, 4-piece band and the 120-member Kids Choir. 'Ethan Presents: A Celebration of America' is a musical tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces, veterans and the country’s enduring traditions. The special was filmed in Pensacola, Florida, where Bortnick performed for an audience of active duty soldiers, veterans and ROTC students.
