Posted 04 Sep 2013

The Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) will present "Get In: Connecting to Affordable Health Insurance," a live, call-in program, Tuesday, Sept. 10, at 7 p.m. Viewers may submit questions by phone at 800-662-2386.

With open enrollment for health insurance quickly approaching and widespread changes in effect, this program will allow viewers to receive information and ask questions. Consumers will learn about the Arkansas Health Connector and how to participate in it. Experts will be available to answer viewer questions on how they can finally get affordable health insurance for themselves and their families.

Panelists from the Arkansas Insurance Department participating in the discussion will be: Jay Bradford, commissioner; Cynthia Crone, deputy commissioner; and Sandra Cook, consumer assistance specialist. Jancey Sheats hosts.

"Get In: Connecting to Affordable Health Insurance" is underwritten in part by a grant from the University of Arkansas Partners for Inclusive Communities and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
