AETN digital subchannels restored in Northwest Arkansas

Posted 06 Mar 2013

The Arkansas PBS (AETN) completed repairs today to restore AETN Create (AETN-2), AETN Plus/World (AETN-3) and the Arkansas Information Reading Service for the Blind (AIRS, AETN-4) audio channel in Northwest Arkansas on the KAFT transmitter.

Weather conditions Feb. 21 caused AETN to lose the microwave signal to the KAFT transmitter. A tower crew was able to locate and repair a problem with the microwave reflector, and normal broadcasts resumed at 12:30 p.m.
