Start the Conversation — “So You Want to Talk About Race” Giveaway

In our new digital series, New York Times best-selling author Ijeoma Oluo and Dr. Cherisse Jones-Branch of Arkansas State University sit down for a frank and honest exchange about how to discuss race and the process behind Oluo’s “So You Want to Talk About Race.” Ready to learn more and start your own conversations? Enter our Facebook contest by noon Feb. 16 for a chance to win your own copy of the book.

We’ll be giving away two copies of the New York Times best-seller that give you that examines race in America and guides viewers through many different subjects including privilege, oppression and more.

For a chance win your own copy of “So You Want to Talk About Race,” enter our Facebook contest by commenting on the post pinned to the top of our page and tell us about what you hope to learn from or accomplish with “So You Want to Talk About Race.” The contest, which is open only to Arkansas residents, will run from Monday, Feb. 1, through noon Tuesday, Feb. 16. The winners will be selected by random drawing. Arkansas PBS will respond to the winning commenters’ posts on Facebook to notify them and to request that they direct message or email to claim the book and arrange for shipping. The winners will have one business day to claim their “So You Want to Talk About Race” prizes. In the event that a winner does not claim the prize in an allotted time period, another winner will be drawn.
