“Sesame Street: The Cookie Thief” Free Preview Screening Feb. 10
In his first full-length “Sesame Street”special, everyone’s favorite sweet-toothed monster is in the midst of a rather “jarring” experience.
Just after the Museum of Modern Cookies — filled with beautiful cookie paintings, like Vincent Van Dough’s “A Starry Cookie Night” and Leonardo da Crunchy’s “Muncha Lisa” — opens, the artwork suddenly starts to disappear!
And, of course, the first suspect everyone’s minds turn to is our furry, cookie-gobbling friend …
But who really did it?
Is it another cookie lover?
Could Cookie Monster have an evil twin?
Are otherworldly creatures invading?
You’ll have to wait a bit to see …
But, the good news is that we’re having a sneak preview of the nail-biting, cookie-munching thriller in AETN Studios on Tuesday, Feb. 10, from 10 - 11:30 a.m. Bring your little ones for crafts, snacks and a fun, family-friendly movie that explores self-regulation concepts — like impulse control, following directions and managing emotions — and celebrates the arts!
(Cue your happy dance …)
