AETN has several great events and programs coming up in the next week.

"Men & Women of Distinction: Miller Williams"
When: Sunday, Nov. 14, at 2 p.m.
Where: University of Arkansas Global Campus in Fayetteville

Join AETN, The University of Arkansas J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences Department of English and University of Arkansas Press as they present a free advance screening of "Men & Women of Distinction: Miller Williams."

Williams might be best remembered as the man who delivered the inaugural poem at Bill Clinton's second inauguration, but Williams also ranks among the best of American poets. Williams will be at the screening and will read a short selection of poems.

Community Cinema featuring "Deep Down"

When: Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 6 p.m.
Where: Murphy Building at Hendrix College in Conway

Join AETN and Hendrix College for "Deep Down" as part of Community Cinema. "Deep Down" is a documentary about the devastating effects, both environmental and cultural, of mountaintop removal mining in eastern Kentucky. Although Arkansas isn't known for coal mining, recent natural gas drilling has brought its own set of concerns to Central Arkansas. We'll have energy and environmental experts on hand to discuss our very own issues following the film.

"AETN Presents On the Front Row With Still on the Hill"
When: Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.
Where: AETN Studios, 350 S. Donaghey, Conway, Ark.

Still on the Hill will bring their unique "folkgrass" sound to AETN studios for a taping of "AETN Presents" to be aired at a later date. Still on the Hill, a duo, is the recipient of the 2010 Governor Art award. The event is free and open to the public, however, please RSVP here.

"AETN Presents On the Front Row With Go Fast"
When: Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Your living room! Or wherever you have a TV.

If you can't make it to the Still on the Hill concert, then get the next best thing to live music right in your own home. Go Fast is a fast-paced rock-n-roll band who gets their inspiration from monster movies and hot rod if that doesn't sound intriguing I don't know what does.

When: Wednesday, Nov. 10 at 9 p.m.
Where: Your TV!

Did you like "Carrier?" Then you'll like "Circus," because although the subject matter is a circus vs. a air craft carrier, the dynamics are just as fascinating. Get inside the ring of a big top troupe.

"America's Veterans: A Musical Tribute 2010"
When: Thursday, Nov. 11 at 9 p.m.
Where: Your living room!

Veterans' Day is an important day to all of us, whether we realize it or not. Featuring host Blair Underwood, "America's Veterans" introduces short vignettes that pay tribute to each branch of the military and honors the experiences of men and women in uniform. The program will feature performances by Peter Cetera (Chicago frontman) Lonestar and the Air Force Band and orchestra, and will perform a mix of rousing patriotic songs and contemporary hits.
