Christmas comes early with this announcement for all of our "Downton Abbey" fans! On Thursday, Dec. 19, AETN is pleased to host a Roaring '20s Cocktail Reception, inspired by Downton Abbey, followed by a screening of the first hour of "Downton Abbey: Season 4."

Come and join us! We'll celebrate the elegance of "Downton Abbey" at Wildwood Park for the Arts (2919 Denney Road, Little Rock) with cocktails, dancing and more, beginning at 6:30 p.m. As per last year's event, costumes are encouraged but not required. Attendees who wear their period-inspired attire, however, will be entered into the costume contest!

Other great fun for the evening includes a Jazz Age photo booth, music and door prizes, along with drinks and hors d'oeuvres. Tickets to the reception are $50 per person; space is limited, so be sure to reserve yours as soon as possible! This fundraising event supports the Arkansas PBS Foundaion, with all proceeds dedicated to supporting programming on AETN.

Limited seating to the free screening of "Downton Abbey: Season 4" will open at 7:15 p.m., and seating is available only with RSVP. The screening itself will begin at 7:30 p.m. It's a great prelude to the season premiere on "Masterpiece Theater," Sunday, Jan. 5, at 9 p.m. Get ready to join your fellow Downtonites to analyze Lady Mary's grief, Tom's possible love interests, the estate's future and more. We can't wait to see you there!

Also, we'd be remiss if we didn't take a short moment to thank those who are helping to make the evening possible! The event is sponsored in part by Starving Artist Café, Sunbelt Convention Services, Fred Astaire Dance Studio of North Little RockVintage Cars of Arkansas and Rock Town Distillery.
