“AETN Presents: On the Front Row” is back for a spectacular 12th season! Our local arts and culture series has returned with a new look and outstanding music as we put our audiences on the front row of the Oxford American Concert Series at South on Main in Little Rock with local and nationally acclaimed artists.

Musicians featured in the 2015 season of "On the Front Row" include:

Peter Martin & Romero Lubambo

Building on the foundation of extensive music careers and their own skills and tastes, Martin and Lumbambo offer a unique blend of American jazz piano and Brazilian/American jazz guitar in their performance as part of the Oxford American Jazz Series. The pair, who also serve as part of Dianne Reeves' band, are expert musicians with a unique shorthand. See an example and hear just a taste of what you can look forward to on Friday, Nov. 6, at 6:30 p.m. in this interview:

Marcella and Her Lovers

This Memphis band, led by Marcella Simien — daughter of two-time Grammy winner Terrance Simien — has roots that reach all the way to Louisiana. Their eclectic music presents a dark, mysterious matched with soulful vocals and Zydeco accordion. "On the Front Row With Marcella and Her Lovers" airs Nov. 13, at 6:30 p.m.

A classic rock band originating from Central Arkansas, Katmandu loves to play the music they love to listen to! Their repertoire provides an outstanding mix of covers and their own acoustic creations. "On the Front Row With Katmandu" airs Friday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m.

Jeff Coleman and the Feeders

Delivering an electrical rock sound with fun, original lyrics, Jeff Coleman and the Feeders sing about themes ranging from lost love to flying dinosaurs! "On the Front Row With Jeff Coleman and the Feeders" airs Friday, Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m.

The 2015 Season of “On the Front Row” will air on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. throughout the month of November as part of AETN Arts Fridays.

AETN is proud to provide Arkansans with world-class arts and culture programming. Our thanks to Oxford American Magazine and South on Main for their partnership in empowering these creative musicians and helping to enhance the cultural fabric of Arkansas.
