New Year’s is always a great time for changes and improvement, and we’re kicking off 2015 with several modifications to our regular primetime schedule. Read through our list to see which new programs we’ll be airing and to see the new arrangements for several viewer favorites!
Some changes of special note for our regular watchers:
- Music block lovers, “Austin City Limits” will air each Saturday at 10 p.m. - moving from the Thursday night schedule - and will be followed by a great lineup of music programs until 5 a.m.
- On Sunday evenings, “MASTERPIECE” will air in its national time slot at 8 p.m., moving up one hour from its previous broadcast time, beginning with the “Downton Abbey: Season 5” premiere on Jan. 4. We’ve also got lots of extra “MASTERPIECE” programming to air throughout the year, so be sure to watch for new specials and programs as the seasons move along!
- “POV” and “Independent Lens” will rotate in our Sunday evening schedule after “MASTERPIECE.”
- To allow for “MASTERPIECE” to air in the national time slot, “Doc Martin” will move from Sundays at 8 p.m. to Thursdays at 8 p.m. As a bonus, we’ll be following it up with a great range of British dramas and mysteries, including “The Doctor Blake Mysteries” and “The Politician’s Husband.”
We hope you’ll give the new line ups a try and let us know what you think! As always, we enjoy hearing your thoughts.
