New “Agri Arkansas” premieres Sept. 28

It can easily be said that Arkansas is an agricultural state; in fact, agriculture impacts our state’s economy on every level! This month on “Agri Arkansas,” our three segments drive that point home, truly demonstrating the breadth and depth of Arkansas’s agriculture industry.

To get started, we’re exploring the state’s vast agricultural sales, and how the agricultural industry affects various aspect of Arkansas’s economy.

Next, we’ll visit South Arkansas to examine the Cummins penitentiary unit, and how their operations work to reduce costs and help improve inmate morale.

To close the show, host Tony Brooks will join guests Rich Hillman of Farm Bureau and Shea Wilson of the Arkansas Department of Corrections for a round table discussion.
