If you’re passionate and enthusiastic about shaping your community and public media, we have a space for you! We’re seeking superfans and experts to help shape Arkansas PBS projects and offer feedback in our new Arkansas PBS Advisors and Insiders program.

The groups will inform and guide our local programs, engagement and initiative in areas including education, arts, outdoors/nature, public affairs, agriculture, health, history/culture, food, veterans, sports and social issues.

Ready to share your voice with Arkansas’s only statewide public media outlet or know someone you’d like to nominate? Let us know at myarkansaspbs.org/forum. On top of applications, you’ll also find additional information about the programs there.

“Audience feedback and input is a key ingredient to making quality educational and entertaining content that Arkansans need and want.” - Arkansas PBS Executive Director and CEO Courtney Pledger

Members of the Arkansas PBS Advisors and Insiders groups will be chosen as space allows and as topics expand. You may also be placed on a wait list for projects that best fit your expertise and interests. Once Insiders and Advisors are accepted into the programs, each will receive a rep kit and subscription to the monthly Arkansas PBS Magazine.

If you’re a superfan, you  should apply to be an Arkansas PBS Insider who will be granted access to monthly virtual meetings where you’ll be among the first to see sneak previews for upcoming programs and events, learn about upcoming priorities and share engagement ideas with key network staff. You’ll also share Arkansas PBS news and priority projects, offer suggestions for community engagement in your region and provide outreach support to your area.

If you’re a subject matter expert, we hope that you’ll consider becoming an Arkansas PBS Advisor to help inform and guide local programs, engagement and initiatives. Each month, a select group of Advisors will be asked to attend a virtual meeting based on their expertise.

In these meetings, Advisors will learn about shows and program ideas and be asked to offer thoughts, suggestions and feedback about upcoming programming. Our key staff looks forward to developing personal relationships with our Advisors and helping them share Arkansas PBS priority projects with their communities, hearing suggestions for community engagement in their regions and helping them provide outreach support to their areas!
