It’s Never Too Late … To Win Tommy Emmanuel Tickets!
Guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel boasts an extraordinary list of accomplishments — one of five Chet Atkins-Certified Guitar Players, two-time Grammy nominee, repeated honoree in the Guitar Player magazine’s reader’s poll— and is a stylistic chameleon, easily switching from blues to Spanish tradition to folk and beyond. But his talent isn’t best appreciated through a list of accolades … you can’t truly experience the genius of his playing unless you see and hear it in person!
Fortunately, thanks to Arkansas PBS Foundaion, you can! On Friday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m., Tommy Emmanuel and his special guests The Wisherkeepers are coming to Reynolds Performance in Conway, Arkansas. This special stop on the “It’s Never Too Late” tour has outstanding seats and opportunities available, which you can guarantee now by visiting the Arkansas PBS Foundaion Box Office. But, if you’re feeling lucky, we have another great opportunity in store in the AETN Tommy Emmanuel Facebook Contest!
To celebrate Emmanuel’s visit and as a way to say thank you to our wonderful viewers, Arkansas PBS Foundaion is giving away 10 pairs of tickets to the Conway “It’s Never Too Late” performance.
For your chance to win, visit facebook.com/aetntv and find the Tommy Emmanuel post pinned to the top of our page. To enter, all that you have to do is tell us why you love Tommy Emmanuel’s music in the comment section.
The contest, which is open to Arkansas residents, will run from Monday, Feb. 1, through Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016. Ten winners will be selected by random drawing. AETN will respond to the winning commenters’ posts on Facebook to notify them and to request that they call or email to claim their tickets. The winners will have 24 hours to claim their pairs of Tommy Emmanuel “It’s Never Too Late” tickets.
“It’s Never Too Late,” Emmanuel’s first completely solo album since 2000, is laced with quality as the expert guitarist easily skates between musical styles in his signature fingerstyle play. Threading three different parts simultaneously into his material, Emmanuel operates as a one-man band who handles the melody, support chords and bass all at once.
The winning commenters will be notified via reply to their Facebook comments on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016. The winners will have 24 hours to claim their “It’s Never Too Late” tickets. The winners will be asked to call or email their contact information to AETN.
