Young Arkansas filmmakers are showing off their spooky sides in “Ghost Blood and Zombies: A Student Selects Halloween Special”!
Chosen from submissions to
“Student Selects” – an annual event that showcases the work of Arkansas’s kindergarten through 12th grade filmmakers – “Ghosts, Blood and Zombies” features the most frightening and hair-raising films for Halloween.
Student films chosen for this special broadcast include:
“Toby” by Har-Ber High School (Springdale), Thea Foundation scholarship winner. “Rope” by Nettleton High School (Jonesboro). “Meet the Shermans” by Har-Ber High School. “All the Right Ingredients” by Lakeside High School (Hot Springs). “Her Eyes” by Eureka Springs High School. “The Event” by Har-Ber High School. “Balance” by Bentonville High School. “Transformation” by Fayetteville High School. “Teacher's Pet” by Nettleton High School. “Operation Valentine” by Fort Smith Northside High School. “Ember” by Bentonville High School. “Nettleton Files” by Nettleton High School. “Student Selects” is an annual event for students throughout Arkansas. Student filmmakers can submit their films and videos to AETN for possible broadcast and streaming on aetn.org, and graduating seniors may compete for Thea Foundation scholarships in screenwriting, directing, editing and cinematography.
