Stop by the AETN booth at 2016 Conway Ecofest on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. for fun giveaways, activities and to learn more about PBS KIDS“Nature Cat” and new show “Splash and Bubbles”!

As long as supplies last, we’ll be going “Onward & yonward!” with Nature Cat — a house cat who transforms into a backyard explorer extraordinaire when his family leaves for the day — by giving away show-themed binoculars and an exploration journal to our PBS KIDS friends who stop by.

We’ll also share activities to help you make your own binoculars at home with PBS Parents and will talk about kids’ favorite places to explore in Arkansas! With a special printable activity, you’ll be able to cut out Nature Cat and take him with you on your next trip.

You’ll also have the chance to get to know upcoming PBS KIDS program “Splash and Bubbles,” joining the PBS KIDS lineup on AETN in early 2017. Designed to encourage kids ages 4-7 to explore the natural undersea world, the show is grounded in a marine biology curriculum that focuses on themes of diversity, individuality, interconnectedness, and the celebration of learning and discovery. The series also introduces the concepts of ecological balance and the importance of taking care of the ocean. Watch for the premiere on AETN — airing right after the special “Wild Kratts of the Deep Sea” — on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
