“Election 2020: Arkansas PBS Debates” — How to Watch

Election Day is getting closer, and we can all agree that there's a lot at stake. Take the opportunity to hear candidates’ stances on the issues before you make your decision in “Election 2020: Arkansas PBS Debates” Oct. 12-14. Candidates in four races will appear in this vital series, which will stream and air on Arkansas PBS outlets.

All debates will be held at Arkansas PBS studios in Conway, Arkansas. Due to COVID-19 precautions, we will offer streaming coverage of the tapings on the our YouTube channel, youtube.com/ArkansasPBS.

Debates, which will be broadcasted in the evenings of the same day that they are taped include:

U.S. Congressional District 2, with candidates Joyce Elliott (D) and incumbent French Hill (R), streaming Monday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. and airing at 7 p.m.

Panelists for the debate include: Wesley Brown of The Daily Record, Jay Bir of KARK and Janelle Lilley of KATV.

Panelists for the debate include: Byron Tate of the Pine Bluff Commercial, Yuna Lee of KHBS/KHOG and John Lovett of the Southwest Times Record.

Panelists for the debate include: Doug Thompson of the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, Yuna Lee of KHBS/KHOG and Randal Seyler of The Courier.

U.S. Senate, with candidate Ricky Dale Harrington Jr. (L). Incumbent Tom Cotton (R) is not scheduled to appear. The debate will stream Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 3 p.m. and will air at 7 p.m.

Panelists for the debate will include George Jared of Talk Business & Politics, independent journalist Steve Brawner and Donna Terrell of Fox 16.

Get the details about another vital part of your vote — in addition to watching “Arkansas PBS Debates” — with our “Election 2020: Ballot Initiatives” special airing Friday, Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. Created in partnership with the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service, this 30-minute program will cover the proposed initiatives that will be on the Election 2020 ballot.
