Through this partnership, we’re also proud to provide preschool teachers with access to important materials. To date, we’ve shared nearly 100 Sesame Street Healthy Habits toolkits — which encourage children to learn about themselves and the world around them at a time when they are developing habits related to eating and playing — with the North Central Arkansas ChildCare Aware satellite facility.
ChildCare Aware is also partnering with AETN Early Childhood Education to introduce the full Healthy Habits for Life program, which is a comprehensive tool set to help teachers and parents integrate nutrition and physical activity into their daily schedules. It’s a fun-filled, hands-on resource kit to help grown-ups and kids find ways to get moving and make healthy food choices with their “Sesame Street” friends!
At the ChildCare Aware Resource Center Community Open House on Thursday, Aug. 13, you can join us to learn how ChildCare Aware and their partners like AETN Community Education are reaching the local community to impact the health of our future!
The open house will feature facility tours, light refreshments, door prize drawings and more! We hope you’ll join us for the event and in this important effort.
