As we’re looking at the end of our first season, we are so proud to have had all of your support and positive reactions to “Cook With Brooks.” Thanks to everyone for watching with us and letting us learn about and document there great food and families in The Natural State!

In “For the Love of Faming,” we’re traveling to Alma, Arkansas, and the Arnold Family Farm. On this journey, we’re meeting up with Randy Arnold to tour farm and see all of the reasons he loves farming.

I loved riding in the side-by-side when Randy took me out to the chicken house! It’s what he started the farm on, and it still provides revenue for the Arnolds to this day.

Later, we headed out to the strawberry field to get some sweet and juicy Arnold Strawberries. It’s really special to hear Randy’s story about his family and how they have been growing strawberries for such a long, long time. This family farm is run with love, dedication and passion!

Last, but not least, I’m going to share a Brooks family secret with you. Our recipe for pie crust is so good, man, it’s going to make this strawberry pie be just plain delicious. This is one of my most favorite recipes I’ve ever created! I hope that you enjoy it on Saturday, July 1, at 5 p.m.
