While our bowl game may be over, there’s no reason to put an end to the football fun! (Sorry we’re not sorry, Longhorns fans.) Continue your celebration and recognize the 50th anniversary of the Razorback’s national title win with back-to-back broadcasts of “The Jim Lindsey Story” and “22 Straight,” the story of the legendary mid-60s Razorback football program on Jan. 1, 2015, at 8:30 p.m.

In the AETN premiere of “22 Straight” at 9 p.m., we’ll relive the captivating story and meteoric rise of the University of Arkansas Razorbacks to the pinnacle of college football in the mid-1960s. The one-hour documentary starts with the team’s Nov. 23, 1963, win against Texas Tech and follows the Hogs’ gridiron journey toward the 1964 national championship and the longest winning streak of the the decade. It’s an incredible story that goes beyond the field to acquaint us with the players, staff and coach behind the legendary team’s ascent to victory.

And, of course, you can take an in-depth look at one of the Arkansas player’s astounding life in “The Jim Lindsey Story” at 8 p.m. The 30-minute documentary follows the 1964 team member through his outstanding performance for the Razorbacks, to his championship turn as Minnesota Vikings captain and beyond as a successful businessman in Arkansas and across the South.

New Year’s Day plans keeping you busy? Not to worry! Tune in for the rebroadcast of both “The Jim Lindsey Story” and “22 Straight” on Monday, Jan. 5, starting at 8:30 p.m.
