Help support Little Rock’s urban youth as they rediscover America’s pastime Sunday, April 24! The Breaking Barriers Sports Equipment Drive will collect donations of gently used and new baseball equipment to support the Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities (RBI) program and Boys & Girls Clubs of Arkansas.

Equipment for all age groups is accepted, and there is a particular need for young men’s cleats and gloves.

Drop off your contributions Sunday, April 24, at Lamar Porter Field. The Breaking Barriers Sports Equipment Drive will be held as part of Jackie Robinson Day.

Join AETN and the Boys & Girls Club of Central Arkansas at this, free public event for a chance to experience the newly renovated Lamar Porter Sports Complex, a special screening of "Jackie Robinson," food, family friendly activities and Opening Day of Little Rock’s RBI program.

RBI scholarships are available. Contact Dan Koops at 501-682-4131 to learn more.
