Coming to AETN on Thursday, Aug. 25, “Back Road Barns” travels through rural Arkansas on a visual road trip to classic barns that have long been a part of our culture. Through visiting these icons of the Natural State’s countryside, we’ll explore how they reflect what it means to be a farmer and what a family farm is all about.

As we count down to the AETN original film’s August premiere, we’re pleased to share some of the outside viewer photo submissions that have inspired us!

James Little - Searcy County

Carol Walker - Benton County

 Debbie Eckles - Logan County

Sent in response to a station request for photos of historic Arkansas barns, these photos - which span counties across the state - pique a sense of nostalgia for Arkansas’s rich agricultural history.

Selected submissions will be featured in a special portion of the film dedicated to viewers’ work. We’re grateful to those who have chosen to share their talent with us, and look forward to sharing the full, fascinating narrative with you in “Back Road Barns” on Thursday, Aug. 25, at 6:30 p.m.
