Why are home improvement shows so addictive? For me, it's a mix of making myself feel better that my stuff doesn't look as bad as their stuff (uh, right), but more often, I use it as a crutch to kick start my motivation to get off the couch and do something useful around the house. Sometimes it's as small as changing air filters and watering plants to feel satisfied, sometimes I go a little cuckoo with a mini makeover. Whatever the case, I'm always inspired to do better, have things look better, function better. And, "This Old House" and "Ask This Old House" have stood the test of time inspiring the 'home improvement' guru buried inside of us....even the most inept guru buried way deep as in my case....but who wants to be that person nonetheless.
"Ask This Old House" has chosen Little Rock as a pilot city of sorts to test a new segment where the hosts teach a particular skill to folks. Kevin O'Connor and Tom Silva will be on board teaching plumbing, heating and cooling improvement skills. Bring your questions and grab the answers....and learn their tricks-of-the-trade while you're at it.,
