Continue the season’s exploration of the state’s physiographic regions as we visit the Ozark Plateaus in this month’s episode of “Agri Arkansas” on Sunday, Dec. 27, at 1 p.m.
 

Sheep_Ozarks 

Bordered on the south by the Arkansas River Valley and on the east by the Delta, the Ozark Plateaus covers most of northern Arkansas.

Cow_Ozarks 

In the episode, we’ll investigate the driving force behind the region’s agriculture and examine how the mountainous landscape affects its residents’ agriculture practices.

We’ll also observe how Arkansas poultry producers are working to lessen the chances of an again influenza outbreaking during the fall and spring migration cycles through biosecurity measures.
