Interning with the AETN Marketing and Outreach Department has truly been a beneficial and empowering experience.
Before coming to AETN, my work experience was limited. I had the opportunity to participate in volunteer work through organizations I was a part of, and I helped provide child-care service for several families. Interning at AETN, however, provided me with my first taste of what being a member of the workforce is all about.
As a recent graduate of the University of Central Arkansas, it was neat seeing concepts I learned in class being used in such a well-respected organization as AETN. I also enjoyed applying journalism and public relations skills I cultivated in college to write press releases and complete other tasks during my internship.
One of my favorite parts of my AETN internship was developing connections and networking. I loved working with the other members of the AETN Marketing and Outreach Department, and learning all about the various projects they are involved in.
I am incredibly grateful that I was selected as an intern at AETN this summer. It was truly a privilege to get to work with the members of the AETN Marketing and Outreach Department. I want to thank them for their support and encouragement. I know the lessons I learned during my internship will stick with me as I go forward.
