A new season of “Downton Abbey” is nearly upon us! We’ve scoured the web for all of the best premiere party ideas for your soiree — from Mad Libs inspiration and Downton Clue to place setting etiquette and recipes (simple and elaborate).

.) First thing’s first. Find a free door hanger printable (courtesy of The Pixel Boutique) to ensure you won’t have any unwelcome interruptions!

.) Want to host an authentic “Downton Abbey” dinner party? Check out this handy guide from Terry's Fabrics for everything from order to seating arrangements to napkin folding. Not quite a Carson? Glean what you like and leave the rest, Tom style.

.) What’s “Downton Abbey” without some outlandish titles? Dub yourself with a bit of aristocratic flair with Margot Madison Creative’s fun “Downton Abbey Name” formula.

.) If you’re feeling your inner Daisy or Mrs. Patmore, get cooking with this dinner menu - featuring Cornish hens, Yorkshire pudding and more - from SheKnows.

.) Hoping for something a bit simpler? A tea party with elegant desserts is absolutely doable! Find a simple recipe for Earl Grey Shortbread Cookies from Claire Robinson here and steps for pouring the perfect cuppa with Sweet C Designs.

.) Next, let the games begin! You can start with something simple, like this character word search from Baby to Boomer (Word search printable here, answer key here) …

.) Take it up a notch with “Downton Abbey” Mad Libs, as done by Another Crafty Day in Paradise

.) Continue the fun with an ongoing game - these Downton-specific activities from the “Downton the Hatch!” Tumblr are great inspiration for making your own bingo cards, a Simon-Says-esque party game or their … more traditional … use. Feeling adventurous? For a New Year’s Resolution twist, assign fitness activities (like pushups, running in place, etc.) to different triggers!

.) One of our favorites - that you can expand indefinitely - is The Vulture’s Downton Abbey Clue. A pre-created board and cards are free to download and print here.

.) And, of course, there are the decorations! Go beyond china and candelabras with Pennywise’s mini Downton votive printable, along with other fun ideas, here.

Anything we missed? We’d love to see how you’re celebrating, too! Share in the comments, or post on Facebook or Twitter.
